We won big, the work continues, and this Saturday we sleep out 🌙
Big news to share with you this week, and it all comes back to one thing: this community showing up, doing the work, and proving that change is possible when we move together.
Alright mandem,
Big news to share with you this week, and it all comes back to one thing: this community showing up, doing the work, and proving that change is possible when we move together.

We just won Project of the Year 🏆
At the National Men and Boys Conference, Mandem Meetup was named Project of the Year by the Association for Male Health and Wellbeing. These lot have been leading the charge on men's health for years, and getting recognised by them means everything. But this isn't just an award for us, it's recognition of every single person who's turned up to a walk, shared their story in a circle, donated, volunteered, or simply believed in what we're building here. This is yours as much as it's ours. Thank you for being part of this.

England's first ever National Men's Health Strategy is here
On 19 November (International Men's Day), England launched its first ever National Men's Health Strategy. This is massive. It's a landmark plan to tackle men's physical and mental health inequalities, improve access to support around suicide prevention, heart disease, prostate care and more, and challenge the stigma that keeps so many men suffering in silence.
And we're not just watching from the sidelines, we're actively contributing to making this happen. The issues we see every day, the conversations we're having, the lives we're supporting, it's all feeding into this national movement.

This Saturday: The Mandem Sleepout 🌙
Now here's where we need you.
83% of people sleeping rough on our streets are male. Every year, we step out into the winter cold for 24 hours to raise awareness for our brothers facing homelessness and to raise the funds we need to keep showing up for men who are struggling.
Last year, you helped us raise £20,000. This year, for our 5th annual Sleepout, we're going bigger in Manchester and Wolverhampton, and we need your support to smash that target.
This Saturday is the event. We're not asking you to sleep out (unless you want to, then big up), but we are asking you to donate and share. Your support helps us continue offering connection, safety, mental health support and hope to the men who need it most.
👉 Donate or share the campaign here:
Share it with your mates, your colleagues, your boss, your family. You never know who might see it and feel moved to support.
Let's come together, stand up for those who feel forgotten, and create real change this winter.
Come as you are, you're welcome here.
